End of the First Half

Starting semester 1 with 27 on my L1R5 really broke me down. still at 20+ on the 2nd semester nearly got me terminated and all the thanks only goes to the really kindhearted and caring teachers of Temasek Secondary School, i got through. Ending up with 12 points as my raw L1R5 at the end of the journey is expected. Actually, I was hoping for a miracle. But it didn’t happen. Cant get to the JC i wanted for, but it’s okay.

Without my pals, I won’t make it through as well, getting me to feel comfortable in Singapore in the beginning and encouragement from one to another are few of the reasons why can I get my current score. I might not get the similar better scores like the rest; G with the pleasant extra surprise, J with the single digit, and S with the expected scores. But this is what’s best for me. They said “what you sow is what you reap” and this is exactly what I should be getting. I thanked God for my results. Even though I felt a bit out of place, I am grateful (proud?) for it, and I’m surely proud of my friends’ results too. (But, I guess i’ll be the-ultimate -blitz? :p)

And the most important thing is : I’ve made my parents proud. Maybe it’s just because they didn’t expect anything much like the other parents, but whatever, I’ve made them proud.

Well, I guess the second part for me will be a very different experience. New friends, and all the stuff, I will need to get started all over again. But yeah, I’m just hoping that everything will be just fine. No high expectations.
